Playstation network has been shut down due to a hacking by a man named Michael Hotz, he hacked Playstation Store so players could get free games. The hacker also took personal information from players registered into the system including passwords, and PSN points to buy games. Sony shut down the network preventing hackers from stealing more information and cash. Sony says that 69 million users around the world are at risk of losing credit card information, and passwords. The shutdown affected the players and prevented them from buying games online or playing with other players. Personal details of 77 million PlayStation Network users had been stolen.
