Quarterly Assessment
What are the Quarterly Assessments? The Quarterly Assessment happens 4 times a year, that’s why they are called the Quarterly Assessments. They are designed to see how we are doing on a specific subject. For example; English they have different focus points like the first test will be narrative, and another would be grammar and etc… It lets the teachers know if they need to re-teach any subjects. Some of the teachers count the Quarterly Assessment as a grade. The Quarterly Assessments happen four times a year, the first one is in October, and the next one is in January, though it might be in December before we go on break, and the third and fourth one is in April and February. Also, every school in the LAUSD has to take it, it is also for Math and English.
