Veterans Day

Veterans day is on November 11, 2011. Basically, this is a holiday where we honor the veterans that fought for our country. Mr. Gonzalez, Mr. Knapp, and Mr. Malkhasyan are veterans in our school and we asked them what branch did they serve in, what training did they receive, why did they decide to join, did they serve in combat, and what rank did they end up as. Mr. Gonzalez is a corporal; Mr. Knapp is a lieutenant colonel, and Mr. Malkhasyan is a lieutenant.

Nightingale Football League

We ask Mr. Greg about the Nightingale football league and the students who participate in the league. They have been doing it for 4 to 5 years. This year it has really taken off. So many students like to play it so much. The two people who started it were Mr. Greg and Mr. Mendoza. They had kept stats of teams and the people who are in the league. We interviewed students who play for the league. We ask what positions they played and teams.
