Christmas Vacation

Our group is asking what are people going to do for their Christmas vacation. We asked some students about there vacation and gave us their answer. We also talked to the principal what was he going to do for his vacation.

Chinese New Year I Dont Know



Chinese New Year is a holiday that some people celebrate. Usually they get money or eat special foods. We interviewed some students and asked if they celebrated Chinese New Year, what food do they eat, and what was their traditions. They answered in questions only you can find out in our video.

Winter Concert Information





The Winter Concert is on December 15, 2011. Ms. Jones and Ms. Makano host it.
We found out how much the tickets are and the time 6:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. The tickets cost $3 for adults and $1 for children. They will be selling them from 5:00 to 6:00p.m. We interviewed Ms. Jones and some of Ms. Makano students about what songs they are going to play and what instruments they’re going to play. Ms. Makano said that the songs they are going to play are Jingle Bells, Dratles , and Elton Joy. To find out more, watch our wonderful video.

Thanksgiving At Nightingale

Thanksgiving is a day to celebrate with friends and family. The first Thanksgiving was in Massachusetts in the year 1621. The pilgrims landed in Massachusetts by 1620. Thanksgiving is primarily celebrated it Canada. People eat many foods other than turkey on Thanksgiving and have good times with their friends and family. Thanksgiving in North America had originated from a mix of European and Native traditions. In the United States, the modern Thanksgiving holiday tradition traces its origins to a 1621 celebration at Plymouth in the present-day Massachusetts. Have fun on Thanksgiving!
