Journalism students Went interviewing other students about Spring Break. Spring Break starts on April 3. Spring Break is like a recess for schools. Most people spend their break with their families. Spring Break only happens once a year so try to enjoy it. WATCH AND ENJOY……

Easter

Our group interviewed students about Easter holiday. We asked the students if they liked Easter. We also asked them where did they celebrated most of the students said the park.

Chow Chow- St. Patricks Day

St. Patricks day is celebrated every year on March 17. In Ireland, the people would have a public parade out in the roads and a big feast all night long. Everyone would dress in green to represent their holiday.

The Book Fair is here once again! Go get you books before it is too late from 4-10-12 to 4-13-12. The Book Fair is buy one get one free. The Book Fair includes erasers and other good things. The Book Fair is going to be at the cafeteria. Bring some money!

SIX FLAGS!!!

8th graders are going to the six flags field trip which is done every year for the 8th graders. Sadly only the 8th graders can only go and no other grades. In order to go you must get your permission signed by the dean, Mrs. Barragon Franco, and your P.E teacher. You also must have OK grades no U's and no F's. OH YEAH SIX FLAGS BABY!!!!!

Leap Year

Leap Year

Leap Year has 366 days in a year instead of 365 days. Julius Caesar is the father of Leap year. He discovered Leap year in 45 BC. February has 29 days instead of 28 days. A year that is not a leap year is called a common year. It adds almost 6 hours. The extra day added on is called a leap day.

Origami - 5K

The Origami group interviewed the P.E teacher and got information about where the 5K took place and how to sign up. The 5k run will take place at Rio De Los Angeles State Park.

Did you know about the seventh grade star writing test? It is an important test that seventh graders have to take once every year. If you don’t want to get double block of any of your classes get a good grade on the test.
