Nightingale Middle School Trackmeet 2013 was a fun day for everyone. Especially because we came out early that day! However, the most fun of it was that green won.

Bike Lanes on Figueroa 2.0

So the DOT plan to add bike lanes on Figueroa. This causes disagreements about wither or not to agree or disagree with DOT's plan. This video explains more about what DOT's plan is about and the pros and cons about bike lanes

Nightingale Luau

The luau is a 8th grade gathering where people could just have a good time and hang out with their friends. There would be many activities during the luau and a BBQ. The luau is on May 17 during 5th and 6th period and ends at 3:00 p.m.

Cycle to School Fest

It's a day when you bring your bike to school and have fun after school. It is on Wednesday, May 8th. They will have pizza and a prize to win.

Cinco De Mayo is a traditional celebration that is national. Cinco De Mayo commemorates the Mexican army's victory in 1862 victory over France at the battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War (1861-1867).

Mother's day

Mother's Day is a day to show some love and respect for your mothers. This video is about students explaining how they feel about Mothers Day and what they're getting their mothers. Mothers Day is celebrated on May 10.

Track Meet

This year's Track Meet is the 74th annual Track Meet. It will be on May 24th. There will be Homeroom relay and other races. We will have a lot of fun that day!
