Japan

A tragic earthquake with a magnitude of 9.0 struck Japan in early March 2011. The earthquake lasted for over a minute, and also triggered a huge tsunami. The earthquake also set off nuclear reactors that could meltdown, causing radiation to spread throughout the land and endangering any fortunate survivors. Heroes like these 2 men are trying to save as many people as they can that have fallen victim to the Japan Earthquake and Tsunami. While some victims are miraculously still alive, there are still many more who are trapped under debris or starving to death. To help aid in the recovery of Japan, you could join the Red Cross. When you support the Red Cross, not only will you help disaster relief efforts, you will also make a difference in someone's life. For more information on how you could help, go to www.redcross.org
